As Comptroller of Solomon Islands Customs, I am honored to lead an institution that serves at the frontline of our nation’s economic security and border protection. Solomon Islands Customs plays a vital role in ensuring the effective control of goods entering and leaving our country, while at the same time facilitating legitimate trade that supports economic growth and national development.

Our core mandate is centered on revenue collection, trade facilitation, and border enforcement. We are committed to ensuring full compliance with customs laws and regulations, protecting government revenue, and preventing the entry of prohibited and restricted goods that may pose risks to our communities. At the same time, we recognize the importance of maintaining efficient and transparent processes that enable businesses to operate smoothly and competitively within the global trading system.

We continue to strengthen partnerships with government agencies, the private sector, regional organizations, and international partners to enhance information sharing, improve compliance, and adopt best practices in customs administration.
